CAREERS
Do the best work of your career, in production
Ilmora is 400+ senior engineers who chose depth over headcount. Small pods, hard problems, systems that ship to real users at real enterprises — and a culture that treats seniority as a responsibility to teach.
CULTURE
Senior by design, small on purpose
Most consultancies scale by hiring junior and billing senior. We refused that model from day one. The average Ilmora engineer has more than seven years of experience, works in a pod of three to six, and owns decisions end to end — architecture, implementation, and the conversation with the client when trade-offs get hard.
That structure shapes everything else. There are no layers of delivery managers between you and the problem. Code review is a craft we take seriously, not a bottleneck. And because our engagements transfer capability to client teams, teaching is part of the job description at every level — the engineers who thrive here like making other people better.
The work itself is the draw: governed agent systems for banks, document intelligence for insurers, data platforms that move real freight. You will ship to production at organizations most engineers only read case studies about, with evaluation and safety practices that hold up under audit.

10% research time
Half a day a week for AI Labs experiments, open-source contributions, or deep learning of your own choosing — protected on the schedule, not theoretical.
Remote-first flexibility
Work from our Hyderabad hub or fully remote in supported regions. Hardware budget, home-office stipend, and no surveillance software, ever.
Health, fully covered
Premium medical, dental, and vision for you and dependents in every region we operate, plus mental-health support and a no-questions wellness budget.

HIRING PROCESS
Four steps, three weeks, zero puzzles
We designed the process we wished we'd interviewed through: fast, respectful of your time, and predictive of the actual job.
Application review
A practicing engineer from the relevant team reads every application — no keyword filters, no AI triage. You hear back either way.
Technical conversation
A deep discussion about systems you've actually built: decisions, trade-offs, failures. No whiteboard puzzles, no memorized algorithms.
Working session
You pair with your future teammates on a realistic problem from our domain — with docs, search, and AI tools available, exactly like the job.
Values interview & offer
A candid two-way conversation with a practice lead about how we work, followed by a written offer within 48 hours. Total process: under three weeks.
OPEN ROLES

Don't see your exact role? Apply to the closest match and say so — we open positions for exceptional people more often than we post them.
APPLY
One form, read by humans
Every application is reviewed by an engineer from the team you'd join. We respond to everyone within five business days — including the no's.
Tip: skip the cover letter formalities. Link to something you built and tell us what you'd change about it now — that conversation is what the first interview is made of.
